About Your Teacher:
This is my fourth year at Sanger High School, but my 34th year in education. My focus through these years has primarily been with high school and college-level students. Before coming to SHS, I taught in several school districts in the North Texas area and was the Assistant Dean and an instructor in history and Arts & Humanities at a small private college in Ohio. My graduate degree is in history and English, and my undergraduate degree is in education.
General Rules & Procedures:
Each of the subjects I teach will have some slightly different requirements regarding supplies and expectations. Please see those pages specifically for that information. The general classroom expectations for all classes, however, are to be in class on time, complete homework and classwork on time, and be respectful. In addition, I expect ALL CELL PHONES to be put away during class unless otherwise instructed!
Tutorials and Conferences:
I am available before and after school on most days. Make-ups will only be completed during Tribe Time and tutorial times. If you need to meet with me on a specific morning or afternoon, just let me know, and we will coordinate as works best for both of us. The MOST IMPORTANT thing to remember is to come to me when you need help, have concerns, or questions. It is very important that you begin to develop the skills of self-advocacy!!
