About Me

A little bit about me...
I am excited to begin my 30th year of teaching!  I taught Family and Consumer Science in Moran and Llano, TX for 13 years and PPCD and Special Education Inclusion/Resource for 16 years at Tenderfoot and Chisholm Trail Elementary in Sanger.  I am married to Scott and have two children that recently graduated from Sanger HS and Texas Tech University.  My husband and I both graduated from Sanger HS.  I am excited to be back in the HS and helping students reach their goals to become teachers or realizing their passions.

Students may join Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America. We have a national award winning chapter, and students have the opportunity to develop leadership skills as they participate in various activities and competitions.  It is the only student-led youth organization with the family as its central focus.
Please click on link below for more information on our local chapter.

TAFE
Texas Association of Future Educators is a student organization I encourage our Future Teachers to join and participate in.  Students will have multiple opportunities to gain leadership experience, complete community service activities, and compete in multiple events at regional, state and national competitions.  More information to follow. https://www.tafeonline.org/

Student Council
I will be serving as the Student Council Advisor this year!  I look forward to an exciting year leading this amazing group!
