About Me

I began my career in education here at Sanger High School in August of 2020. Maybe the middle of a global pandemic wasn't the easiest time to be a first year teacher and Head Athletic Trainer, but it sure was a blast. While this is my first full-time job in education, I hardly feel like this is the beginning of my career.
My mother and father, Bill and Kathy Harp, have a collective 65 years in education! Both my mom and dad are now retired from Pleasant Grove Texarkana after lengthy careers in Middle School (mom) and High School/District Administration (dad). I have an older brother who works in public service in Longview, Texas.
I graduate in May of 2018 with a a Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training Norbert O. Schedler Honors College Student at the University of Central Arkansas.
I moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to complete a Master of Science in Sports Medicine while serving as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for the softball team at The University of Pittsburgh. I graduate in December of 2020 after successfully defending my thesis: "Analysis of Glenohumeral Range of Motion in NCAA DivisionI Collegiate Softball and Baseball Players."
In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, working on household and wood working projects, and playing video games! I am excited for my second year at Sanger.
